On November 6, during the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Sinopharm Group and Roche Pharmaceuticals China signed a strategic cooperation agreement to enhance their long-standing partnership. Key representatives from both companies, including Liu Yong, President of Sinopharm Group, and Bian Xin, President of Roche Pharmaceuticals China, attended the ceremony.
Next year marks the 30th anniversary of Roche Pharmaceuticals China in the Chinese market. This new agreement aims to deepen cooperation across multiple fields, accelerating the market entry of innovative healthcare products and strengthening the local healthcare ecosystem. Both companies will leverage their strengths to advance product distribution, supply chain collaboration, and expand hospital and out-of-hospital market access.
Liu Yong emphasized the importance of this partnership in accelerating the introduction of new products and creating an innovative, diversified healthcare ecosystem in China. Bian Xin highlighted Sinopharm Group’s role as a key partner in Roche’s strategy to integrate global innovations into the local market.
This strategic cooperation will focus on a “patient-centered” approach, aiming to develop a new ecosystem model for diagnosis and treatment. It also supports the “Healthy China 2030″ initiative by promoting the efficient implementation of innovative products in various disease areas, ultimately providing more options for patients in need.
