● Data Center Liquid Cooling
With the commercialization of products such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, and AIGC, the demand for computing power has surged, leading to a rapid increase in single-cabinet power. At the same time, national requirements for the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of data centers are rising year by year. By the end of 2023, new data centers should have a PUE below 1.3, with some regions even requiring it to be below 1.2. Traditional air cooling technologies are facing significant challenges, making liquid cooling solutions the inevitable trend.
There are three main types of liquid cooling solutions for data centers: cold plate liquid cooling, spray liquid cooling, and immersion liquid cooling, with immersion liquid cooling offering the highest thermal performance but also the greatest technical difficulty. Immersion cooling involves completely submerging server equipment in a cooling liquid, which directly contacts the heat-generating components to dissipate heat. Since the server and liquid are in direct contact, the liquid must be completely insulating and non-corrosive, placing high demands on the liquid materials.
Chun Jun has been developing and laying out liquid cooling business since 2020, having created new liquid cooling materials based on fluorocarbons, hydrocarbons, and phase change materials. Chun Jun’s cooling liquids can save customers 40% compared to those from 3M, while offering at least a threefold increase in heat exchange capability, making their commercial value and advantages very prominent. Chun Jun can provide tailored liquid cooling product solutions based on different computing power and power requirements.
● Medical Cold Chain
Currently, manufacturers mainly follow a multi-scenario development strategy, with significant differences in products and demands, making it difficult to achieve economies of scale. In the pharmaceutical industry, cold chain logistics face strict regulatory requirements for quality control during storage and transportation, necessitating higher, more continuous, and complex technical performance and safety.
Chun Jun is focusing on innovations in fundamental materials to meet the precise control and full-process quality control requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. They have independently developed several high-performance cold chain temperature control boxes based on phase change materials, integrating technologies like cloud platforms and the Internet of Things to achieve long-lasting, source-free precise temperature control. This provides a one-stop cold chain transportation solution for pharmaceutical and third-party logistics companies. Chun Jun offers four types of temperature control boxes in various specifications based on quantified statistics and standardization of parameters such as volume and transportation time, covering over 90% of cold chain transportation scenarios.
● TEC (Thermoelectric Coolers)
As products such as 5G communication, optical modules, and automotive radar move towards miniaturization and high power, the need for active cooling has become more urgent. However, the small-sized Micro-TEC technology is still controlled by international manufacturers in Japan, the US, and Russia. Chun Jun is developing TECs with dimensions of one millimeter or less, with significant potential for domestic substitution.
Chun Jun currently has over 90 employees, with about 25% being research and development personnel. General Manager Tang Tao holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the National University of Singapore and is a Level 1 Scientist at the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research, with over 15 years of experience in polymer materials development and more than 30 material technology patents. The core team has years of experience in new material development, telecommunications, and the semiconductor industry.
